OUR COACHES
We believe that our coaches, for better or worse, will define the youth sport experience in our athletes’ lives; therefore we are committed to equipping all of our coaches as leaders and spiritual mentors. To that end we have developed a Coaches Resources Library that includes unlimited FCA Team Bibles for distribution, the complete set of Tim Elmore’s Habitudes Series, David Prince’s book In the Arena, and multiple sport themed devotionals.
Additionally, CFA Sport Ministries offers a weekly small group for coaches. Influenced by Proverbs 27:17 the group seeks to unpack spiritual truths and leadership lessons uncovered from relevant books. The small groups meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm- 8:00pm in the CFA Church Offices.

We live in a sport-obsessed world, nothing else in our culture produces so much passion and intrigues. Such obsession, for the Christian, must produce critical reflection.
How should Christians think about sport? What does Christ have to do with athletic competition? Can sports be redeemed?
Join us on Wednesdays beginning September 13th as we unpack David Prince’s book In the Arena and learn to understand how the gospel shapes our understanding of sport and receive practical instruction on how to use sports in parenting and discipleship.
